Privacy Policy

Quiddity is a vocabulary app designed around one word a day. This policy explains what information the app and its service providers process, why it is processed, and the choices available to you.

Information stored on your device

Your word history, known words, hidden words, reminder preference, and daily word assignment are stored locally on your device and in the app group used by the Quiddity widget. Quiddity does not require an account.

Analytics and diagnostics

Quiddity uses Firebase Analytics to understand broad feature usage and Firebase Crashlytics to diagnose crashes and reliability problems. These services may process device information, app version, approximate location derived from an IP address, app interactions, and diagnostic data. We use this information to improve stability and understand how the app is used; we do not use it to build a personal vocabulary profile.

Purchases

Purchases are processed by Apple. RevenueCat helps Quiddity verify purchase status and manage access to Quiddity Pro. RevenueCat may process an anonymous app user identifier, product identifiers, purchase status, subscription dates, and related transaction information. Quiddity does not receive your full payment-card details.

Advertising and consent

The free version may display ads supplied by Google AdMob. Depending on your region and choices, AdMob may process device identifiers, advertising data, IP address, app interactions, and diagnostic information to deliver, measure, prevent fraud, and personalize or limit ads. Where required, Quiddity presents Google’s consent choices before requesting ads. You can revisit Ad Privacy Choices from Settings when that option is required in your region.

Notifications

If you enable a daily reminder, Quiddity schedules it locally on your device. You can change the time, turn it off in Quiddity, or change permission in iOS Settings.

Support messages

When you contact support, your email app sends the information you choose to include. We use it only to answer your message, investigate a problem, or consider a suggestion.

Sharing and retention

We do not sell your personal information. Information is shared only with the service providers described above, when needed to operate Quiddity, comply with law, protect users, or prevent abuse. Service providers retain data under their own policies and applicable agreements. Support correspondence is retained only as long as reasonably needed to respond and maintain support records.

Your choices

• Disable notifications in Quiddity or iOS Settings.
• Use Ad Privacy Choices in the app when available.
• Delete Quiddity to remove locally stored app data.
• Contact us to ask a privacy question.

Children

Quiddity is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy as Quiddity changes. The effective date above will be revised when a new version is published.
